I gained weight

HAHAHA
I totally quit quiznos raspberry lemonade and started drinking inhaling cristal light juice.

I came home last night to find the fridge half a second away from exploding.
Then I checked the oil cabinet, carb cabinet, to-be processed food cabinet. I secretly named all the cabinets in the house.

My point is, all of them were full, and I found a bunch of deseret foods.
I've been eating deseret peanut butter for the last two days. Is that made out of 'mormon healing oil'?

also, are they made of recycled mormon book paper?

AND, if you die while eating deseret food, do you become a saint?

Anyway, I guess I could understand (Not really) if caitlin is annoyed with my new diet.

I've been measuring everything I eat, so I could put it on livestrong exactly what I ate.

I'm not ashamed of it or anything like that. Its kind of fun, and I've done more math in the last week than first 2/3 of summer and maybe last tri of senior year haha.

since that 62 min running mark, I have a new record of 64, but I got a bit slower. I mean I think that record was a little insane. 5.4 miles! I'm only 5 feet & 4 inches tall!

about the diet...

I gained 5 pounds

obviously I got a bit burly from running
For example, I imagine if a 3 year old ran into my thigh he/she would die or at least have a major concussion.

I believe I could stick a nail into a wall with my new thighs.

I'm not really mad that I gained 5 pounds because my face looks slimmer. I kind of wish my belly would go next.

But my friend jono says boobs are first to go. I think I'll be sad if little I have right now disappears..

I think blogging is fun and I like our new fridge.

So far... maintaining

I haven't really tried to lose any weight. Mainly I've been secretly trying to avoid double portions and too much in one plate. But that's just secret. I haven't said anything out loud about it because I don't want to be ridiculed and I'm afraid I'll jinx it. Well, this small, barely effort has caused me to not become a Fatter Hite, which is nice I suppose.

I also have to get something off my chest. I hate people on diets. I was just realizing yesterday that every time I noticed Gabi do something for her 1500 calorie a day diet, I wanted to kick a puppy. (Figuratively speaking, of course.) Maybe I'm jealous because I lack the commitment it takes to really take a diet seriously, but I honestly think that it's just because people on diets tend to talk about their diet constantly. If they were just quiet about it all and peacefully lost their weight without talking about every single gram of sodium they had that day and in which food it came from, I would congratulate them when I've noticed the weight loss in a semi awkward way and we would both feel just fine.

Yes, I notice that this entire blog is what I hate, and yes, I realize that I'm a member. I also can see that I have probably been guilty of talking about a diet nonstop. But I think that is a major barrier in my attempt to diet and workout. I don't want to be that person that causes other people to want to kick puppies. (Or if you're Incarnacion, poopies)

I'm sorry to Gabi for being the example. I don't hate you (never said I did) and will get over it. And also, I haven't kicked any baby dogs.

P.S. I wrote this entire blog wearing a Ring Pop. It's delicious.

I ran a full three minutes!

Okay, so it doesn't merit the same kind of attention that Gabi's 62 does, but I called it a success. I also did a mean round of weights, for which I am paying. I am now going to go watch the boob tube, must find out who wins SYTYCD.

We did it, We joined a Gym

Yep, we joined a gym. Gold's Gym to be exact. We did it as our FHE activity yesterday. And all it costs is $51 a month for both of us. It is a big bill. Yikes, scary. So we thought we would post some more fat picture of us so that we could mark our progress, to this serious commitment:
Here is me in all of my chubby-ness. I really don't think that I am that fat...I only need to loose 20% of my body mass, or..80 pounds. Thats all.

Chubby chubby chubby!

This is me with my old plate, and my new plate.

Also, me with my all my new Gold Gym member stuff: free tans, tanning lotion, and sports bag.
Karl loved our first day. He can't wait to go back again tonight!

Photographic proof of the reason behind my Fat Hite status

So, last week I went with some friends to the OC Fair. Below, please witness some of the fair-tastic food I indulged in.

Exhibit A
This is me fulfilling my life-long dream of eating a giant turkey leg. You'll be glad to know that I shared this monstrosity with a friend. You may not be as glad to know that it was not actually turkey. I maintain that it was pork.

Exhibit B
Next up was the basket of french fries that was actually larger than the kids' heads. You'll also note the large cup of ranch dressing that my friend, the charmer, scored for free - a necessary addition to this already steaming load of fat and calories.

Exhibit C
My next offense was this deep fried cupcake. It tasted like a warm cupcake, so I'm not really sure what the deep frying added to the experience except several hundred calories. I have a fever, and the only prescription is more cupcakes!

Exhibit D
Last, and possibly most egregious of my fair-food crimes is represented by this photo. The above chicken could in fact be the very chicken featured in the finale of the series of escalating dares performed by me and my equally wacky friend. Krispy Kreme donut chicken sandwich with raspberry sauce and honey. Perhaps horrifyingly, it was actually good.

Yes, I am a Fat Hite. Not sure what my friend's excuse is.

Committed, Financially.

Well, at least they threw in a couple of free tans.

Allison and I bought a gymnasium membership. It was a pretty big evil contract. We have what I think is a pretty good deal, but it's hard to put a price tag on a small man with large muscles teaching me subtle falsehoods about nutrition and weight training.

Allison has some awesome photos chronicling the whole first time experience. Ask nicely and she might put them up for everyone to enjoy.

OVER AN HOUR OMFG

I'm sure you are very impressed with my shoop skills.
it only took me a min too. 70 seconds max.

ANYWAY

there is this amazing website "livestrong.com"

you could put down your weight, age, gender, goals (either to lose XXXX pounds a week or maintain your current weight)

Then you put down what you ate. they have a search engine, and if you can't find it then you could put down the info yourself.

THEN, it tells you the total % of calorie, fat, cholestrol, sodium, carbs, sugar, fiber, and protein intake for the day.

and everything you eat, they tell you a smarter option that you could pick (eat) instead.

this site is awesome and free.

But thats not why I posted a picture of me running.

today, I ran for over an hour. A new record of course.. of 62 mins of running in a row. according to google map I ran 5.4 miles, but I decided to count it as 5.2, giving it about 3% error allowence in case google is wrong.

so that means ever 11.5 min I ran a mile.

I'm really happy. 6.2 - 5.4 = .8
I think I will be able to finish 10k.

I'm REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY HAPPY WITH MYSELF
thanks for celebrating it with me you guys
